Overview

At a high level, our work flows from planning and estimating through project management and into shop and field execution. Priorities can shift rapidly, so adaptability, sound judgment, and staying aligned with your team are critical. Employees are expected to take ownership not just of tasks, but of outcomes, and to act proactively rather than waiting for direction when issues arise.

Employees who perform well in this environment are responsive, take ownership of their responsibilities, and communicate clearly—especially when issues arise or timelines are at risk. Follow-through is expected, and asking questions early is strongly encouraged. There is always more to learn, and those who take initiative in developing their knowledge and skills tend to succeed. A strong commitment to safety in all working environments is expected at all times.

The CVG Way

The CVG Way reflects how we show up for our customers, contractors, and one another. It is grounded in professionalism, integrity, quality work, teamwork, and ownership. Respect is a core expectation across all roles and levels. Every contribution matters, and how we treat each other day to day is a key part of our culture.

Consistency in these behaviors is expected.

One way we strengthen this culture is by bringing in people who reflect these values. CVG offers employee referral awards. To qualify, you must instruct the applicant to list your name in the referral space on their application.

If you refer a candidate and we hire them, you will receive:

·        $100 for regular part-time hires
·        $250 for regular full-time, non-management and non-lead hires
·        $500 for regular full-time lead hires (Lead Glazier, Lead Fabricator, and management roles)

Referral bonuses are paid after the new hire completes 90 days (3 months) of employment with CVG. You must also be actively employed with CVG at that time to receive the incentive.

Managers in the direct line of authority and Human Resources personnel are not eligible for this incentive.

Feedback and Support

CVG Cares is a platform where feedback is welcomed and encouraged. It is intended for job-related matters and was originally established for General Contractors and Job Foremen, but it is available to any employee who would like to use it. Submissions go directly to leadership and allow for photos to be uploaded using the QR code below.

HR Cares is a platform for employees to share kudos, suggestions, comments, or concerns related to people matters. Access it through the QR code below. Feedback submitted through both channels is taken seriously.
